New Building Will Provide More Therapeutic Environment for Trauma Patients
DALLAS, Texas (April 27, 2016) – The Treehouse, a leader in alcohol and substance abuse treatment, education and advocacy in Texas, announced today it’s expansion of a new 8000sqft building to house 40 additional treatment beds. The campus, which will now house 100 clients in long-term, sustainable recovery, rests on 50 acres of both adventure and tranquility.
“We are thrilled to open this new area to the clients in our care,” says CEO Vinnie Strumolo. “As we grow, we are constantly looking for ways to upgrade and accommodate our campus with a variety of therapeutic measures tailored to them as individuals. This is a further step toward the individualized care necessary to maintain a long-term stable recovery process.”
The new building features several modifications and adjustments to ensure comfortability for anyone with alternative physical needs such as Foldable Electric Wheelchair or specialized mobility equipment.
A state of the art media room and dining area is housed in the new expansion, with a separate access point. This room, which features a drop down screen, projector and sound system, will not only be used for presentation and educational sessions, but can easily be converted into a dining, dance, or yoga area. Two other lounge sections will be housed in the building, which adjoins a basketball court and fishing pond.
